Problem
DUREX was consulted to recommend a treatment for a previously installed (and failing) seamless epoxy floor system in a restaurant. The kitchen could not be shut-down for more than 48 hours.
Solution
DUREX’s recommendation was to remove the existing failing epoxy floor system and replace it with a urethane composition floor system. It’s been our experience that urethane composition floor systems are much more suited to the environmental abuse a floor system is subjected to in a kitchen.
After the existing floor system was demo’d, DUREX installed a new seamless urethane composition floor system with a chemical and abrasion resistant Polyaspartic finish coat.
