Problem
An NFL stadium needed a flooring solution in public bathrooms around the concourse. Over 40,000 SF of stained and contaminated concrete required a flooring treatment that would stand up to the abuse of 70,000+ visitors on game day.
Solution
DUREX prepared the existing concrete substrate with a combination of shot-blasting and small hand held cup-wheel grinding equipment. After surface preparation was complete, DUREX installed a decorative quartz epoxy aggregate flooring system with a chemical and abrasion resistant urethane finish coat. Due to the off season requirement for project completion, DUREX installed 40,000 SF in 4 weeks.
