Problem
The owner had concerns about the chemical resistance of the floors and walls as well as the durability because of the aggressive cleaning that will continuously be done. Standard wall finishes (FRP, Panels, Epoxy Paint, etc.) were not durable enough or included seams where dirt/urine can accumulate.
Solution
Durex installed a high-performance seamless decorative flake system to the floors and walls, creating a “bath-tub” effect. The entire system (floors & walls) was finish coated with a chemical resistant urethane (CRU) for added abrasion and chemical resistance. The result was a chemical, abrasion & UV resistant, low-maintenance, easy to clean, seamless floor & wall finish.
